| Currently out of stock, but they do make them here: http://www.meerschaumstore.com/proddetail.asp?prod=CA0016
Also J.H. Lowe's page: http://www.jhlowe.com/news.htm "Calabash Meerschaum Bowls (cups) for replacement of in Calabash Gourd Pipes are now available from J. H. Lowe. The Calabash Bowls are made in Turkey from high quality Turkish meerschaum. The bowls are cut to fit into Pioneer Calabash Gourd Pipes. Some shaping or fitting may need to be done to make a proper fit in other makes of Calabash Pipes. Check out the Miscellaneous area for the sizes and prices of these Meerschaum Bowls."

| When mine cracked, one of the talented and illustrious pipemakers on the forum made me one from briar. It was unexpectedly lighter than the original and smokes great. |

It was Scottie. The work is beautiful and it smokes like a dream. I am very glad I had her do it. |

| That briar insert is great! I'll have to keep that in mind if I wind up needing a replacement for a calabash. |

| You can also get replacement bowls here Pipemakers Emporium but, they are out of one size and these have to be sanded a bit on the inner edge to fit properly but, if I can do it, anyone can. Oh! and they won't be reordering cause there business is up for sale. If you find the right size for your gourd and don't want to try and fit it yourself, give me a PM and we'll see what we can do, on the cuff of course. |

I have some of them ordered for my Gourds. You can also find in ebay but caution: Give them in photo the specific measurements because not all the carvers have the same way.In case of wrong you will spend too much time with sandpapers plus you have to do the waxing work. Don't buy a cheap Bakelite meerschaum insert, will ruin your smoking plus your health. |
