OK, I looked, there was no post I could find regarding Fire Dance Flake........

Got a 50 gram tin yesterday. Got out one flake this morning and set it on the drying tray. Very Raspberry smelling. Damp, but not soaking. Came back to it this afternoon, and it changed a bit. Not a lot, but enough to crumble up and load. It sat out about, oh, say about four hours or so......

Lit up pretty easily. A nice berry/vanilla taste, and smelled the same. The flavor eased up a tad toward the end, giving way to a sweet tangy Gawith Virginia theme. Then, it was over. Left a dry bowl and more than likely a minor ghost.....

It was a nice departure from my latest trends........

I'm not one for aros, but do like this as an occasional change of pace. Needs drying though.

Cheers,

RR

I like Firedance Flake. It's Best Brown Flake, flavored with blackberry brandy. By itself Best Brown is pretty darn good. So like it or not, at least you know that Sam Gawith isn't throwing cheap baccy at their aromatics.

I remember Rande put me onto this a few years back as a recommended transition from aros to Vas. I very much enjoyed it and as a result I always have some in my (meager) cellar. None open at the moment though... Mmmm.....
