| Ever pine away cause you couldn't get yer mitts on some of that stinky and/or just plain brutal Brit blend you either love to hate or want to try?
The following vendor used to not ship to the USA, but now (following a recent order of mine having been accepted and shipped without a quibble) seems to be back in the game.
Be prepared. The loose equivalent of a 50 gm tin goes for maybe twice what you're used to paying stateside. Tracked Shipping starts at around $15, I think. Yeah, ouch.
But...if you want it, they've got it. In spades. It's a kind of kid in a candy shoppe sorta thing.
Check out the Gawith lines. Nice.
---------------------
So here's a request...no rants on prices here please. They are what they are. They are what our Brit brothers have to pay day in and day out. If you wouldn't pay X for Y, we understand. But you don't need to flaunt your outrage here.
If you've had any direct experience with this vendor that would be good to know.
Thanks.

| Odd. They still have a disclaimer on a sidebar that states "Sorry, we cannot ship tobacco or snuff to America" over a pic of a P-51 Mustang. Wait. Maybe it's a "wink, wink" thing. Never mind. |

| So this is their sidebar explanation, which I'm guessing has been gotten around by using the"World Pay" thing...
g)Sorry but do to restrictions we can not ship Tobacco, Snuff or other Tobacco leaf products to The United States of America if paid for using a credit/debit card or PayPal. We can however ship to you America if paid for via an international bank transfer/deposit. Please contact us for more details. |

| Yep. That's what I ran into when I tried to order the Strang, in addition to the language barrier. I have no idea why, other European sites take PayPal/CC. |

| A couple of years ago a few of the major credit card companies decided to not honor tobacco purchases. It was their contribution to the war against evil tobacco. I can't remember exactly which ones, or what followed, but I remember that going down. _________________ Many of the greatest pleasures in life are illegal, immoral, or smelly.

THEY NOW ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS VIA THE WORLD PAY OPTION THAT COMES UP AS A STANDARD OPTION DURING CHECKOUT!
I just yesterday ordered several blends (including some Dark Flake Liquorice) and it. Has already been shipped. Headed my way even as I key these words. So...we should be cool. |

| I'm in the UK, and although I don't order a lot of tobacco simply due to the cost ( 50g every 4 or 5 months) what I do order is from GQ and only 1 other. always what I have ordered has been exactly as described.
never been stateside to see what you guys get by with so I cant really compare like for like.
enjoy what you got, let me know your thoughts as I'm always eager to learn more from people with a well seasoned palate.

To extend this notion further, to celebrate the Solstice this evening I selected a MM Cob and nearly picked up some McC's Red Cake, a blend that I can't get in the UK. Yup. Bonkers. |

Just like two fellas fishing. The one in the boat casts for the shore and the one on shore casts for the middle. |

A quick look at the GQ site doesn't show Mc'C's blends there mate. Where were you looking? Cheers, RR |

This is very encouraging news, as there's a good few proprietary blends Glynn has which interest me. Not to mention the SG off-cuts that only he seems to be the sole purveyor of. At least as far as I can ascertain. And ya, the price is the price. So pay up or take yer ball and go home. Cheers, RR |
