PostSubject: Need help identifying a pipe    Need help identifying a pipe EmptyTue Jun 28, 2016 6:43 pm

Has anyone ever seen/own or know about this pipe, or one like it, trying to figure out if it is wood. Can't ask questions since where it will come from doesn't have any clue about it. Regards.

Can't help you there banjo but it certainly is an interesting piece. Perhaps better suited to a conversation piece/work of art/carving/etc than a functional pipe than anything else. Kind of reminds me of some of the more esoteric works of a few folks whose names I can't remember just now.

Sorry I wasn't of more help.

Cheers,

RR

RR,
Got a funny feeling you may be right and that it may not actually be a real pipe, damn, it so much reminded me of the characters in the Hobbit Trilogy. Guess I'll pass. Sad

Dunno what your purpose with this was banjo, but it's still an interesting piece that might be better suited to a position of honour on your display shelf. Depending on the price of course.

Cheers,

RR

Well it's in a lot, comes with a crude carving, two pipes of no consequence another neat pipe that appears to need work and a pipe stand I have no interest in, so I would more than likely pay too much for something that may, or may not be,what it's supposed to be, I don't mind gambling on things I do well at it but my gut is telling me to run like the wind. Cheers.
