A handful of Cocoa Puffs

A strawberry mead from a meadery in Washington

Tempura battered wild turkey breast and thigh strips, with choices of dipping sauces/dressings. Brown rice with capers and red pepper corns, first steamed then stir fried in sesame oil. Various veggies from the garden, some battered and deep fried, some stir fried.

Indifferent to watching the power struggle blow by blow, the projector went outside and the movies on the side of the barn were Disney's Apple Dumpling Gang, Despicable Me, and now Medicine Man (Sean Connery). Nice fire in the pit, folks passing ball jars of 'shine, pear wine and I recently saw some Absinthe floating around somewhere...

Wake me when it's over...........................P )
