I honestly think this old girl is my favorite pipe i own... just an old Grand Duke Canadian... This Grabow just fits perfectly in my hand... you can smoke her hard and she is always cool to the touch... This pipe has become quite precious to me over my years of smoking.... just something about her...

That's a fine looking pipe. I have so say, one of my favorite things about the hobby is finding a reasonably priced pipe that smokes well. It's always gratifying.

Inky, very nice pipe!! I have one just like it for many years, mine is stamped standard on the side. Main reason I like it so much it's a Lovat style pipe, well balanced and you can clench this pipe for a long period of time. Need to put a new rubber soft bit back on, recently restored my old pipe. Something about the quality of the old Grabow's, like the Freehand I also own. Much better chunk of briar on the old model.

KEEP ON PUFFING!!!

This one I just restored 2 weeks ago. Needs to go on its maiden voyage. Paid $14.00 on eBay shipped. Now in mint condition and a nice flame grain.

KEEP ON PUFFING!!!

Here it is with a soft bit. I'm smoking a pipe for over 47 years and I got use to using a soft bit basically because I clench my pipe allot. I have been known too also put holes thru my stems, now just replace the soft bit. I'm the original owner of this pipe and decided to restore it back to mint condition. Like Inky stated: this is a great smoking pipe cheers

KEEP ON PUFFING!!!

Gentlemen those are all beautiful pipes and top notch restorations. I tend to throw soft bits on my heavy hitters due to the fact that when im at my work bench working on a saw or tinkering i tend to clench pretty hard.
