Likely not. I've got some really fine pieces here. This is just tool grade...working farmer as opposed to gentleman farmer. But in terms of tools, the best going. I also have an e-Nep and a Hybrid 3 1/2" from Aranyik. All are astonishing choppers for very little money compared to their field value. Plus, they make a nice set.

I get the sheaths at Machete Specialist.

Interesting how the Aranyik tools have gained a sort of mini cult following on the internet. I discovered them about a year ago via uTube and bought the e-Nep after watching a couple of reviews. In hand, the tools are twice what they appear to be in a video. Very large and heavy. Almost evil. Very Bruce Campbell movie. lol

Just to let you know I'm not totally twisted...I also got a coveted TWSBI fountain pen for my birthday. It's a Vac Mini. The 1.1mm stub nib. Very sweet little thing. It's the smaller one shown below with its big brother, the Vac 700.

Blackhorse, we have much in common!! I'm very much into knives, pens, preferably older fountain pens, flashlights and old style razors. Much of my collecting has stopped due to being retired/disabled and on a fixed income/budget. In the past 4 years my spending habits have changed drastically.
I want to mention this to ALL , an excellent knife and machete manufacturer that most people can afford, CONDOR. Excellent quality and craftsmanship for the price. Their knives hold an edge well and the leather sheaths are also of better quality then knives costing much more.  Last year I received as a gift a Condor Machete, it was well crafted and sharp from the manufacturer. Only issue I find with their knives in general is the wood handle scales need a better finish. What I did to all 4 of my Condor knives/machete is a fine sanding to the wood handle and 4 coats of Tung oil with 8 hours of drying time between coats. For those of you that want a well made knife the Condor Bushlore is sold on Amazon for just under $35.00 delivered. This knife has walnut handles and a high quality thick leather sheath. The blade is high carbon steel so keep some oil on the blade when not in use. Never store your knives long term in your sheath, moisture builds up inside the sheath and will rust your high carbon steel blades. Just thought I would share this with the BoB community.
