Just got in touch with two members I know from another pipe forum that Banjo frequents often. He has not been seen or heard from in over two weeks. I'm having someone send him a PM. He is in my Prayers

I heard Michael (Monbla) was under the weather a few weeks ago. Hopefully noting too serious.

I wish them both well.

Cheers,

RR

I just got off the phone from talking with Michael. He's doing OK but still tires easily. The doctors are no longer having to draw fluid from his lungs so he's breathing better. His keyboard on his computer is still broken and he has been busy caring for his Mother and going back and forth to the doctors so getting the computer in for repairs has been a fairly low priority. Michael said he hopes to get it in the shop one day this week. He has to arrange for a neighbor to help him get it into his car because he can't be lifting anything for a while. He reads the forum regularly and misses participating. Smile

Get better soon, Michael. We miss you.

I'm a friend of Banjo's and will call him. He has three types of cancer he is dealing with, and occasionally takes time away to deal with them. Sante is one of the bravest humans I have ever know. He was sprayed with Agent Orange in Viet Nam, and he has dealt with the resulting problems with more bravery, class, and dignity than anyone could imagine.

I wish them a speedy recovery.
I have a lot of respect for Sante, had done some trades & sales with him and find him very down to earth. Reading what you are saying about him, I am speechless and my respect for him just exploded through the roof.

Indeed. Why bother to ring the bell when they are not present? I say, what's the point?
