H&H BlackHouse dated 2012 in my restored 1969 ( one of my first original 4 pipes )  Viking pipe with a black rusticated/blasted Billiard bowl. This Viking was originally chrome plated, from age and use started peeling severely. So, I sandblasted the metal portion and allot of fine hand sanding. The final finish was sprayed flat black. The upper pipe is my Grabow Freehand from the 70's which I restored about 2 years ago. The Freehand smokes Flake blends superbly because of the diameter and depth of the chamber. The older models of the Grabow Freehand was made from a slightly larger piece of briar compared to the new version.

GLP's Sixpence aged 3 years in my new unbranded T. Cristiano smooth Canadian pipe. I purchased this pipe and tamper as a combo for $12.00 on eBay. A few months ago hundreds of cases of Mr. Cristiano's pipes were found in his warehouse storage. I own 3 of his signature series pipes and in craftsmanship they are second to none, excellent smokers.

Relaxing after a wonderful Alaskan salmon and baked potato dinner with a bowl of G&H Louisiana Flake in a 1986 three quarter bend Bacchus face CAO meer with a tortoise shell stem. The Yankees and Red Sox are still playing, tied 1-1 as they go into the 15th inning.
