Still alive on my end. Good to have you check in when possible. Hopefully you'll trudge through your current responsibilities and will be back on a more regular basis. Wishing you well, sir.

Been wondering where you went arky. Now I know.

Life has a habit of taking precedent over elective activities. So set your priorities accordingly and check in here when you can.

Cheers,

Way to many people come and go I've noticed. Some do pop in from time to time, but I also notice that many don't. What can we do about this??? Maybe start some interesting topics.
Everyone's life changes, believe me I know. " Sit down, stay a while, ya'll come back now, ya heir".

On my part, I have much on my plate right now. Buying a house is a big piece of the iceberg for me. I got all manner of other stuff going on too. I don't have a lot of time usually, but right now Kim and my boys are at Disney till Sunday. So I've been on a bit more.

totally understandable ^^^^^. Even with all what's going on in your life right now your still finding the time to be part of this forum. Wether it's once a day or once a week, your here... I think you know what I mean. Before I retired my life was always on the go, 24 hours in a day never seemed enough. Five minutes a day or five minutes a week, your still here and will be to stay. Now that I'm retired/disabled all I have is time.

Arky, glad things are starting to look up for you and more on the positive side.
What method will you use to cure your tobacco leaf? All the same variety? Did you try a bowl of your Navy rolls as of yet?
Have a great weekend and all the best to you.

Glad your Tobacco leaf project is working out well. Nothing wrong with sundried leaf curing. After about 6 months of aging you will notice a big difference, and a year of aging your set to start smoking more. Keep a crop going every year.

Sounds beautiful brother. My family has land up in Maine that has a whisky spring, I mean a bubbling spring haha. It's my favorite place to go camping in the whole world. Nobody around for miles.

Completely understand the full plate thing. I'm far enough into the teaching program that I had to resign from bus driving so could turn full attention to schooling. Helped immensely (got out of last term with a B+ average), but still so busy that half the time I feel like I don't know if I'm supposed to be scratching my watch or winding my A$#. Try to at least lurk for a few minutes every day or so, though. Glad to see things seem to be going well for you (new house), and Arky (baccy plants and possible new land). afro
