| That was sad news to hear today. I had forgotten that Becker was originally the bassist and then morphed into guitar. I just downloaded "11 Tracks of Whack). I have all of Fagens solo stuff, but none from Becker. We have a four hour car ride home on Tuesday, I'll use that opportunity to listen to the album. |

Becker unfortunately had a period in his life dominated by drugs and alcohol, I guess that has to take a toll. Most of the stars that have passed in an early age had similar stories. |

They all became famous in the 70's, now they are just getting really old and our standard American diet is taking its toll too, pollutants, you name, but there will be lots of "celebrity" deaths in the near future. |
