PostSubject: Rolex pipe   Wed Oct 11, 2017 6:44 pm

Picked this little beauty up off the bay of fleas the other day for about $35 Aussie, and I mean little.

It's a Brebbia made Rolex pocket pipe, despite fitting easily into the palm of my hand, the bowl lasts for a surpising 20-30 minutes. It cleaned up nicely and smokes very well for what I'd consider a novelty pipe.

Yes it does live up to its name and fits a pocket well.

Dunhill tin for size reference.

Cheers

Tim

Very nice pocket pipe for when your on the go!! Perfect pipe for me between doctor visits in the same building... 5)
Smokershaven has one for $45.00, yours looks better with the darker briar. I own an old Savinelli pocket pipe, must be over 15 years since I've lit er up. I mostly use my Yello-Bole Pug pipes, they fit perfect in a small leather pouch I have that also holds tobacco.
I'm one of those guys that likes shirts with two pockets, because I carry way to much $hit lol!

KEEP ON PUFFING!!!

Never was much interested in the pocket pipe concept, with the folding stem thing. Guess that's due to me being strictly a non-travelling pipe guy, where all of my pipe smoking is done at home.

Of course, many here are not of the same disposition. And if this kind of thing works out for you, then go for it I say!

Cheers,

RR

I'd like to know if Rolex sanctioned that. I worked for a Rolex operation for a few years, and I learned that Rolex endorsed very little merchandise. Most of the stuff even I thought was distributed by Rolex was proven to be bootlegged and not legally marked.

I've only seen one of those in "real life." I was eating in a restaurant and a uniformed chauffeur came into the room to speak with a seated couple. He was smoking one of these. Back in the day, of course, when a person could do that without causing hysterics. Seems like a very handy thing for a certain type of smoker.

Smile if it starts ticking, I'll be worried.

No idea if this was ever an official thing between Brebbia and Rolex, can't see much solid info out there at all. Would love to hear more about this if anyone knows.

Cheers
