On this brisk Halloween Morning as I hunt rodents and make cockroaches quake at the thought of me, I'm smoking a preprepped (set it out to dry a bit last night) MM Morgan loaded with Peterson's Irish Flake... I love the smell of vitamin N so early in the morning!

Carter Hall, date on Mason Jar 2006. Aging this old codger makes a remarkable difference, more complex.

Pipe of choice: T. Cristiano Signature series Fatta A Mano smooth Billiard bowl with a square shank. The briar has both flame grain and birdseye.

Medal of Valor dated 2011, tin version ONLY! I find the bulk horrendous. I have over 20 tins of this blend. Some I purchased and some was gifted, due to the fact that many pipe smokers purchased a few tins before trying it first. So, I have MORE than a lifetime supply!!!

Pipe of choice: MM Country Gentleman Pipe. Great match-up!!

What makes Lane Andullo so very good and tasty is the Dominican  fermented tobacco leaf used in this blend that's been available in the States but really not a big hit like I thought it would be. If you enjoy a good Dominican cigar this is certainly a MUST try. I have a few tins aging and have not smoked this blend in a while. Most likely over the upcoming holidays.

ILL CALL IT MY HANUKKAH CHEER  cheers  cheers

I really enjoy Nicaraguan cigars such as A.J. Fernandez, (Diesel, and others). I wonder if there are any pipe tobaccos with Nic leaves instead of Dominican?

Right up your alley would be the Spectre blend pipe tobacco. It's from the same cigar leaf as the Spectre cigars by none other than A J Fernandez. You like his cigars so you need to buy a tin of Spectre and give it a try!!

PS, don't think you'll find it around but this guy Stan ( who sells tobacco ) had Spectre pipe blend for $7.00 a tin last time I checked. Below is his email address.

His name is Stan, real nice guy!!! Tell him Ted from NC recommend you!!
