Been getting the Winter smokes in line. Typically outside and short duration...but sometimes a long walk or a seat by the fire indoors. The recent bombing run got me started on Gawith blends again. So below is the loadout for this quarter. This was mixed among three vendors...Mars, SP & P&C.

Missouri Meerschaum Corncob - The Marcus
Missouri Meerschaum - Morgan Natural
Missouri Meerschaum - Huck Finn
Kendal Mixture - Gawith Hoggarth & Co.
Kendal Kentucky - Gawith Hoggarth & Co.
Dark Bird's Eye - Gawith Hoggarth & Co.
Best Brown #2 - Gawith Hoggarth & Co.
Brown Flake Liquorice †- Gawith Hoggarth & Co.
Lakeland Dark 50g tins - Samuel Gawith

My my, we are digging our cob pipes, are we not? I wonder if the Huck Finn or the Morgan bits fit the Markus? I have a few different cobs but none with that particular bit. Nice to have spares. I must say, that Markus darn near smokes itself.

Nice haul by the way! cheers

Always digging the cobs Ozzie. Hadnít seen the Old Dominion variety before, so...a mans gotta do what a mans gotta do.

Also picked up a couple more GH blends...

Kendal Dark Vanilla - a variant of Dark Flake which is finely cut and has a mild scenting added. Powerful. Sounds kick butt nice.

and - Brown Flake Vanilla - The standard Brown Flake with added scenting. This one has the light to medium Strength of the Brown Flake base.
