How do you all store tobacco that comes in plastic 14 oz. containers like Carter Hall, Lane RR, EGR, and others? Do you just leave them, or do you open them up and jar the tobacco? I want to buy several and put them away in my cellar. Even though they are sealed, does the tobacco dry out in the plastic?

Most are built to weather the end of days and should be fine in the tub. EGR and Heine's can dry out and lose topping strength, I prefer them this way, but you may not and may want to jar those two. Fresh tubs of these two are sealed. So they would be fine unopened.
