Jim,

I bought mine through this Austrian tobacconit http://www.pfeifenkonsulat.at/shop/index.php?s=8 and absolutely love it! I opted for the black blast though as I figured I could count on a few dozen fills on the smooth....

I only took a few pics. They are on the other computer at the moment. I did get them out of the iPhone, so that's a start.

The tent was rather nice. It would be better if the ventilation could be improved. Maybe some flaps at the top. Not that it's bad. The number of cigarettes burned in there was very small, so although it may have been smoky at times, it wasn't nasty. It was mostly pleasant. Heated when needed also. Nice combination of comfy furniture and tables with chairs. Food wasn't really over priced. I would have spent what I spent if I went to Arby's. There wasn't a breakfast served in the tent. But there is several places to eat in the resort.

The Friday evening welcome dinner buffet was superb! The club members went around and was sure to say hi to everyone. Ask if there were any problems. Pointed out that it was not necessary to tip the persons waiting on us, but we did anyway.

You will have no trouble finding something to smoke. C&D and Altadis are sponsors. If there were C&D personnel in the tent, there were samples of many blends. Altadis gave a packaged pouch sampler away to all at the Friday buffet. Not to mention, all the other vendors providing samples.

The resort is a little strung out. So be prepared for walking. You could always find something to drink if need be. The GrayFox folks treated me to some 40 year old Jim Beam. Lots of folks selling out of their rooms. Trading and talking going on everywhere. I stayed at the resort. Yes, I could have stayed down the street for less. But this way I had no need to drive. Room was comfortable. I was in the Courtyard. Rooms in the Tower were closer to more open rooms, but they looked slightly smaller to me. Elevator waits were minimal.

My cost was $129 + $9.95 resort fee and around $14 in tax. If golf is your game, they have a Friday golf outing. Several pools. Spa. Salon. Shopping trips for the lady's. etc etc. Rest rooms were always clean and not very busy. Meaning, there were plenty.

If numbers were down, it was the economy to blame. I would expect it to improve next year. Coming from the south, I came up I39 and across to St, Charles on Rt64. Traffic was not a problem. I did hear of fellows from Indiana complaining about Rt59. Something I really hated in 2005 when I last attended. I kept to my usual eating schedule and didn't try to make a 1 day trip out of it. So I never screwed my bloodsugar up like I did in 2005.

There were several sellers with large selections of Stanwell's, Kaywoodie's, Castello's, and many others.

Yeah, that's why I was wondering if someone here in the states had all those Nanna Stanwells, so you could maybe see some good pics online, phone and have them pick out one that maybe didn't have a bunch of fills. The golden/blonde color on those displayed on that table are superb! Very Happy
