Dom will be fondly remembered for both Cannonball Run movies and for being constantly mistaken for chef Don Prudhomme...

Funny how when I see Dom Deluise's age... my first reaction.
"Was he only 75 years old?"

There was a time these guys were all old, if not ancient. Now they seem like guys I grew up with... I guess the passing years will do that to a fella.

Sad news indeed. I really like watching him on the Dean Martin show. He was a very good comedian IMHO.

I am sorry also, but what ever happened to chef Don Prudhomme?
I had the good fortune to watch one Don on TV and eat in the other Don's restaurant.

So sorry to hear this. He was a wonderful comedian, apparently, a very decent fellow, and no slouch himself in the kitchen.

BTW, I'm sure you mean chef Paul Prudhomme. Don Prudhomme is a drag racer.

Sorry to everyone...its been a couple of years. When ever I got to New Orleans I hopped into Dom's car and we rushed over to Paul's restaurant for a great meal. While it wasn't Durgenspark, we all enjoyed the great atmosphere and fine food.

RIP, Dom. He was one of those comedians who really seemed to take joy in the world.
