Sick in bed since last weekend. Not a picnic when living alone, I can tell ya.

Now I see that the SF board is shutting down (!?), and PB is back on BoB (cool!)

My apologies to anyone who's still waiting on an email... just now getting back up to speed.

Sorry to hear you were under the weather, LL. Figured maybe living out in the hinderland might insulate you from some of the colds, flus &c. Apparently not Crying or Very sad

That's what I thought, too. Turns out that the same isolation causes your immune system's antibody titer to decline, plus the buggies have continued to evolve, so you're more susceptible when something finally does come along.

I know when it happened, too. I went to our town Library the Wednesday before last, and stumbled into a "story time" afternoon for little kids. It was packed with 'em. (Didn't know there WERE that many around here) It took me several minutes to notice there were quite a few coughers in the bunch, so I cleared out, but apparently not fast enough. Mad One exposure was all it took.

That'll do it every time. Glad to hear your feeling better. I had that - and I'm just a little north of you in Saskatchewan !

What seems odd is that the residue of that high octane Lakelands stuff in your system didn't kill the germs.
