John Eells is an excellent carver who's been at it for decades, and does some of the best stem work on the planet. He's not well known outside hardcore collecting circles, though---his output is low---and the lack of name recognition affects the price of his pipes. (That and the fact many of today's collectors consider English standard shapes passe.).

Anyway, here is a killer deal on a good specimen, sold by a 100% reliable dealer. It doesn't get much better.

I've looked at that little beauty several times!!! Problem is I just bought two Italians (Radice and Bonfiglioli) from SM. The temptation is there, however!!!!!!!!!!! FTRPLT

Not a billiard fan but those are awesome. The blast work is fantastic!
LL, I agree the stem work is great, indeed some of the best I have seen!
