PostSubject: Toledo   Thu Jan 14, 2010 10:40 am

I erroneously posted this earlier in the wrong forum.

Will be spending most of the weekend in Toledo, Ohio. Does anyone have any B&M recommendations in the area?

Thanks.

If memory serves me Tom Clemens live there, PM him and you may get an answer....

Briarbrian live just north of there in Detroit, PM him also... He may know of some, or worst case scenario Detroit isn't very far away... I know there were some really good ones up there several years ago.. But memory fails me on the locations and with the economy, who knows...

One word of advise, when traveling in Ohio order everything To Go.. No sales tax on To Go food...

The Pipe Rack is about 50-60 miles north of Toledo in Livonia, MI. That is some ways off. Other people might consider that close.

Much of life is perspective....

Personally I think a maintenance guy taking 30 minutes to get a lightbulb and a ladder is along time, others would comment "wow, that was fast"...

The drive to Livonia from Toledo round trip is less time than the average guy spends over the coffee pot talking football and politics between showing up at work and the first 'smoke break'.

Port Royal is in Toledo and has a fair selection. They moved to a new location and unfortunately the shop is a shell of what it once was. Should still be worth stopping bye. Hope this helps.
