PostSubject: Weed Control - Going Eco   Thu Jul 22, 2010 11:46 am

One more year and we cannot buy traditional weed control in Alberta. I was thinking of stocking up on things like Round Up and Weed & Feed.

In the Home Depot a couple of weeks ago, I thought I'd start the stockpile. However, the saleslady said they have already gone green. If I wanted the old stuff the Canadian Tire still sells it.

After pondering it for a while... I decided to try this new "Eco" solution... a spray bottle of each of the following:

Scotts EcoSense "PathClear" that kills weeds and grass in the walkways, driveway, etc.

Scotts EcoSense "Weed B Gon", a spray for weeds on the lawn.

By golly, they both work Very Happy

Weeds, bugs, annoying neighbors, only one perfect solution to handle them all, napalm.

Works for me,

A hoe to root them out and a level head rake to round them up works for me. Oh wait, I only weed the vegetable garden… never mind.

Thanks for posting as I am not familiar with that line of products. I wanted to see the ingredients but haven't taken the time to download the large PDF file on the website. It did say something about iron being a main item. What struck me funny is the line of products not beng available in New York or California, probably the two most environmentally conscious states.
