Actually there's more than two cities in Kansas.
Plus there's a few towns and lots of little burgs. One town, Redwing, or was it Red Onion? It's so small that both city limits signs are on the same pole. What a Face

After you found your pretty little girl, you just have to figure out if you are in Kansas City, Kansas or Kansas City, Missouri. Just remember that the two cities are separated by State Line Road.

So us Kansan's can live in the great state of Kansas, but still drive to Missouri for cheap gas and booze!

And now tobacco, Kansas is getting crazy with the taxes.

Because one is in Kansas and the other is in Missouri, located at the junction of the Kansas and Missouri Rivers.

Kansas City (Missouri) was founded in 1838 as the "Town of Kansas" at the confluence of the Missouri and Kansas rivers and was incorporated in its present form in 1850. Situated opposite Kansas City, Kansas, the city was the location of several battles during the Civil War, including the Battle of Westport.

For a better understanding of it, I would suggest watching Clint Eastwood's best movie, "The Outlaw Josey Wales". Very Happy
