My celebration is tempered with caution--the DC ban was among the nation's most restrictive and categorical; there's no telling what it means for gun restriction legislation in general. (But here's hoping NYC's draconian restrictions will fall under the current ruling.) |

| Some of the Chicago suburbs have these stupid laws banning handgun ownership, were you to shoot an intruder committing a burglary you would be charged with a crime for owning a gun. I'm glad there still exists some common sense somewhere in this country.
