I haven been online much for the past week because I've been fighting that sinus/viral thing. Man was I messed up!!! It's going on nine days now and I'm finally starting to feel better.

I am sorry to see that so many others have been down as well!

My son has had it and I am like walking around behind him with a Lysol can, running him out of every room in the house. I haven't gotten it yet and I am going to great lengths to keep it from happening!

Going on day 3 here. Both myself and my wife have it at the same time. Am able to get up and move around a bit more today, but only for a bit. Everything hurts. Feel like I did when I was in a head-on collision. Hoping it's not true; but from what I'm hearing; we're in for a week of feeling like crap.

If you haven't gotten it yet; I pray you don't! And for those of you who have it; get better soon.

Well, I made it to work all week. Still have a bit of the sinus cold hanging in there. Just minor.

But it seems to have messed my sense of taste and smell up. I can taste and I can smell, but not with the usual level. Things seem bland.

I got a package of 16 tins yesterday. Thought I would try Irish Flake for the first time. I was looking for an extraordinary experience because of the vitamin N level that is supposed to exist. It was ok. A bit bland. Maybe med-strong. But no vivid colors or that green feeling in the stomach or anything. Dang! Thought maybe it would jump-start the taster. Looks like it's only going to be half-there until I completely get rid of this cold.

I had read the posts here and was thankful that I had not came down with the flu this year. I very rarely get sick, and when I do I usually just tough it out and truck on. Well I am in day three and still feel miserable. I actually called in sick, which is something I can count on one hand that I have done in the last five years. Had 103 temp two days ago, down to 99.5 today. At least I got to enjoy the box pass before this thing hit.

Hoping those of you who have had (or still have) this thing are feeling much better, and hoping those of you who are healthy stay that way.

I had the flu just recently also had Strep throat on top of it too. I even got the flu shot, which I do and recommend for everyone every year. Its a small amount of money to pay so as to not lose alot of money being out of work for a week or more.

I also went to the doctor within 48 hrs and he gave the a script for Tamiflu. The next day I felt ALOT better, the stuff really works great. The day after that I was back to making pipes. I hope everyone feels better soon.

I have been very lucky so far this year. My wife had it but I haven't gotten it. I take so many meds the germs most likely invaded and got high and wandered out to go some place else lol!

I did get the shot and I'm sure it helped a little. My wife got the shot and got sick a long time afterwards so we can't b;ame the shot. Lordy do I ever feel lucky cyclops

even' All, I got it too!, Doc gave me Z-pac industrial strength anti-biotics, surgery at end of month, Ken.
