I'm already thinking of what I will smoke in it.

The choice should be simple, "Hamburger Veermaster, the sweetest pure Virginia that I know of."

A great tobacco, and one that will truly give you an idea of how a new pipe will smoke.

it's supposed to look like cumberland but it's lucite.. it's comfortable and looks good with the pipes finish so it worked out just fine.. if it was cumberland it would have cost a heck of alot more, i'm happy mark suggested to go with the lucite.

For you guys who miss seeing Mark's "Today's Work", Mitch's Bengal finish is listed. Very good comparison against Mark's standard bulldog shape.

AND! AND! Mark makes an extra rough coral!! I had no idea. Shocked Very Happy Very Happy

Forgot the link.

Well, mine came today. Postal services out this way are not fast, but the wait was worth it. I have it in my gob as I write this, a bowl of McCleland #22 smouldering slowly. I have honestly never seen wood like this on any other pipe. If I wasn't in such a hurry to smoke it, I'd take a photo right now. It truly is something remarkable. Mr Tinsky has done us proud. My $ are well invested. Many thanks to all those involved in this project.

Hi Bubba,

You need to follow the instructions near the begining of the thread. You order directly from Mark's web site.

I suspect Mark had more trouble with this one than most. It's an extra rough coral finish.

Very nice, don't you think?
