Back in 1951 I lived only a short distance from Fenway.My fathers ship was
in the Boston Navy Yard for a refit and we lived there for 4 months until he put
to sea.I still remember Boston.

A fellow co-worker was at the game, and witnessed another fine piece of Boston Red Sox History. All i could do was cheer over the television broadcast. CONGRATULATIONS TO A FINE YOUNG MAN, JOHN LESTER.
