That was quite possibly the greatest basketball game that I've seen in my life! Paul Pierce,Ray Allen and James Possey were nothing short of brilliant tonight! We're gonna lock this thing down on Sunday folks!
GO CELTS!

Dock,
I hate to disagree with you. But this series should be over... The Celtics have been under-rated, grossly. They went through the west fairly easily... they have proved they are the class of the league again and again. It shoud be over now but the NBA wants it to last longer.
Those who remember Magic & Byrd... those were the days.
I remember getting into verbal and none speaking fights in those days.
There is no REASON WHY THE CELTICS SHOULD NOT WIN, accept for officiating... simply put, they are the class of the league.
You can't have such talent and loose the big one. as much as the NBA sages want it to go longer.
The NBA hierachy are being questioned about "rigging games" but they can't this year.
Even as I write this, commentators are saying "I can't believe it!".. To that I say BULLSHIT !!!!
Let me say again... Kobe wants the glory.... Garnet, Allen & Pierce want the ring. _________________ "Manny changing the attitude in the clubhouse. It's like hearing that Pope Benedict XVI had 'em rolling in the aisles with his stand-up routine at the Vatican." -Dan Shaughnessy |

| I almost went to bed during the third quarter. Unbelievable that the Celtics could come back from 20 down in one quarter on the road, amazing.
I actually hope LA wins the next one so the Celtics can win the championship on their home floor, in front of their own fans. _________________ These are horrible times and all sorts of horrible people are prospering, but we must never let this disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to annoy and hinder them at every turn. I feel the same way... been listening to more CRAP most of the day... "Oh, maybe Kobe's not Magic" "Oh, those starters around Kobe are pretty 'soft' after all." "Oh, the Lakers bench isn't all that good". "Oh, I now think the Celtics will likely win it that they won 3 games." "Well we picked the Lakers because they have played the played the best in the playoffs"...
Yep, it's all Lakers this, Lakers that.. _________________ "Manny changing the attitude in the clubhouse. It's like hearing that Pope Benedict XVI had 'em rolling in the aisles with his stand-up routine at the Vatican." -Dan Shaughnessy |

| Man o man... Kobe's antics. As nice as it would be to see the Celtics win on home court, I hope they finish it off tonight.
Kobe... making those angry faces at this own players.
Kobe... questioning a call... hollering at the official, tapping the official on the shoulder twice and not even getting a "T".
Let's take the game tonight.... CELTICS!!! _________________ "Manny changing the attitude in the clubhouse. It's like hearing that Pope Benedict XVI had 'em rolling in the aisles with his stand-up routine at the Vatican." -Dan Shaughnessy |

| Who's better Pierce or Kobe (include both defense and offense)?
That game could have gone either way.
Garnett missing the free throws and Odom stealing the ball (a clear foul) from Pierce.
But that's NBA basketball....
So where is Kobe in this series? accept for a few minutes here and there? He leaves the floor and gives the same answer "we could have shot better." _________________ "Manny changing the attitude in the clubhouse. As much as I hate to say it, pound-for-pound, Kobe's the better player from a purely physical standpoint. Pierce wants it more, however, so he's working his ass off right now and just outplaying him. It's obvious Kobe plays for LA, he seems to think winning the title is an entitlement rather than an end he must work for. |

celtics have to stop falling behind so much early, the waste all there energy fighting back. it would be nice if the zebras would swallow the whistle on the ticky tack fouls there calling on kg too. _________________ Nick

| Some comments in the third quarter from the play-by-play guys:
“Celtics are embarrassing the Lakers.”
“We are watching an incredible thing”
“This may be the most dominant performance in championship history.”
“Executives of other teams must be looking at the Celtics and being inspired”
“This is unbelievable”
“Another steal”
“Complete domination”
“There’s another steal”
“Please call 911, Rondo just stole the ball from Bryant”
Celtics should have taken this series 4-0. _________________ "Manny changing the attitude in the clubhouse. It's like hearing that Pope Benedict XVI had 'em rolling in the aisles with his stand-up routine at the Vatican." -Dan Shaughnessy |
