In the sports chat forum this morning there was someone from Scotland watching the Sox
The Sox come back to play exhibition (spring training) games in LA against the Dodgers then go to Oakland for two regular season games to complete the four game set. Oakland is the home team in Japan. _________________ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WixcqHFm-H8 |

| Self-realization... I am nuts. There will be 160 more regular games. This is the A's. Both teams are still in spring training shape.
Then again... here comes Big Papi with two on
Then, he fouls out...

| | I saw two games this week, both L.A. teams. The blood is flowing a bit faster now, the eyes are sharper, the step a bit lighter. I remember my last glove which I kept long after I had no use for it. I wear several ball caps now. My dreams remind me of great catches and hits that I made. Baseball and spring will always be identified with hope and new opportunities. |

| Yes it kindles lots of memories.
Was I dreaming or did I read that for one of the games between the Dodgers and Bosox they are expecting a record attendance... They are contructing a net to simulate the Green Monster... sounds weird. I may to hallucinating but I'll see if I can find it and post it here.
It'll be interesting to see how the Dodgers do. I think the Padres will give it a run.

| This was on a blog:
| Quote: | The Red Sox are headed back to the States, bidding Sayonara to Japan after today's loss to the Athletics. They are set to arrive in Los Angeles tonight and will hold an optional workout on Thursday before playing the first of three exhibition games against the Dodgers on Friday.
Saturday's exhibition may prove to be the most interesting. It will be played at the LA Coliseum in front of a crowd that could exceed 115,000. The stadium will feature a 60-foot netting wall in left field less than 200 feet from home plate.
“We pulled the left-field netting as tight as possible so that balls will bounce off it kind of like the Green Monster,” Lon Rosenberg, the Dodgers’ vice president for stadium operations, told the New York Times. “But we didn’t want to pull it too tight and be like a vertical trampoline.”

Interesting...
