wow,, this will be like starting the SEVENTH period... Two Games Completed...

What you smoking... I going to fill a bowl of Old Joe Krantz...

I suspect the winner will be a shot from the blue line screened by players in front... Thorton will get it.

Dallas must has older players... Sharks still seem to have a lot of energy... Every time it's in the Sharks end I keep saying "Get that puck out pass the blue line!!" A screen shot from the blueline tucked in by Thorton will do it.

I said much worse Sad Crying or Very sad Mad Crying or Very sad Sad Mad Evil or Very Mad There's not enough smilies to emote my feelings lol...

I knew months ago that Dallas would be a a threat in the playoffs. Also knew when sharks were down 0 games to 3 this was basically it...but man that was a good ending to the season, they went out fighting and had so many good chances. Turco and Nabby were both on fire tonight...so much for the sharks being favored to win the cup Rolling Eyes

Now I don't know who to root for...I don't like Detroit too much...maybe Pittsburgh...

Another question...to shave or not to shave now that my team is eliminated hahaha

And the planets have aligned. The Battle for Pennsylvania begins this week. Can I get a penguin emoticon?? Smile

JohnnyO, I found out where the penguins live in Pittsburgh. Can't believe I didn't think about it myself. They have South African penguins in the Aviary on the North Side. They don't skate or stick handle too well, though, and none of them can keep a puck out of a net.

Johnny, looks like you are keeping Wilson...

Quote:
Sources tell TSN the Maple Leafs contacted the San Jose Sharks yesterday for permission to talk to Sharks' GM Doug Wilson.

But sources say Sharks' ownership refused to grant that permission, so scratch Wilson as a candidate for the Leaf job.

“Wilson doesn't really want to leave San Jose and the Sharks don't want him to leave,” the source said. “It's as simple as that.”

DOH! We knew this would happen...that last few games would make up for years of playoff losses... No Oh well, if there's one man I hope stays its Roenick! That man deserves to win the cup, and I think the Sharks can do it if they gain the confidence and do their jobs
Brian Campbell was at first, one our best acquisitions , they started winning that big streak when they got him. Sure he's good on offense [as a defenseman] and do the spin-o-rama but look at how many times he's lost the puck and turned it over , resulting in a breakaway for the other team and sometimes a goal. He even took that penalty in 4th OT that gave Dallas the game...Maybe he just needs to learn a little more discipline on the puck, I dunno...but he bugs me...I almost want to burn my autographed puck of him lol

So I can't sit still at work today. I'm so looking forward to the Pens/Flyers game tonight I just keep fidgeting. Being just an hour away from Philly, I'm feeling slightly like I'm in enemy territory. But that's alright. We North Western Pennsylvanians can take anything the SE New PennsylJersians can dish out.

Gonna be some skatin, some deekin and some smackin goin on at 7:30 EST tonight and I'm a-ready for some playoff hockey, baby. Aw yeah.

Can I get a Penguin emoticon??? drool

Hazmat's out celebrating Laughing . I watched parts of the game (tv on mute) as I watched baseball. Maklin's playing mean. A slap shot directly in front of the net... how do you stop that. Laughing

BEST WEEKEND EVER!!! in regards to being a hockey fan.

Wow, it's going to be tough for Philly to rebound from these losses. They were up in game 1, only to let it all slide. G'head and smash Malkin into the boards again. I like those slap shots from 10' out cheers

Pens came out a bit sluggish last night and still managed to pull it off. Not to put too much on any one player, but Philly's missing Timonen in a big, big way. Malkin and Crosby are starting to have their way in the attacking zone and Hossa's come alive like a spark since the 2nd round. Everybody on that team is just doing what needs to be done to win. Can't help but love a team that rallies around itself like they're doing right now.

Gonna be tough if they advance and have to play Detroit. I caught a few minutes of their two games so far and they're just in every way superior to Dallas. It's not even a contest. I wonder how Pens/Wings match up?? Could be fun fun fun!!!

This could very well be the Peguins year. There was talk that Edmonton might be trying to get Hossa before the trade deadline but the knock against him was that he disappeared come playoff times. He's proving that wrong. Also last summer the Habs tried to sign Briere but he went to Philly. Montreal made him a good offer but the word was that Briere would only come if he could choose his linemates and Montreal wouldn't accommodate that.

Hazmat you're doing the happy dance Laughing .

Happy dance doesn't even begin to explain it!! The girl I'm seeing is from Philly so we have a lil bet going.

Not THAT kind of bet!! When the Pens win, she owes me a six-pack of whatever beer I like. If Philly wins, I owe her the same thing. I'm a half case up in one weekend and that makes me a happy man. One of those sixers will go nicely with a Pittsburgh victory in Philly tomorrow night.
