St. Louis Cardinals vs Springfield Cardinals

Ok, so it's kind of a mismatch being as Springfield is a AA team. Nonetheless, the Cards vs. Cards battle is on at Hammons Field in Springfield, MO on March 28th and I was fortunate enough to obtain tickets at the St. Louis dugout. I am stoked! Unfortunately, there will be no pipe smoking at the stadium, so it's just me and Copenhagen pouches.

Now wouldn't it be funny is the St. Louis Cardinals got their asses handed to them by their own minor league team? Could happen.

as a child, i grew up in springfield, IL (now my mom and 2 brothers live in springfield, MO), and we'd go to the Cardinals games there as well (don't recall if that was AAA or AA - i was only 7 or 8 when we moved in the 70s).

i live in KC now, we don't have a team. they have some semi-pro team called the T-Bones though.
