Hockey Playoffs!

My girlfriend and I scored tickets to the San Jose Sharks vs Calgary Flames playoff game tomorrow!! I'm super excited...obviously... bounce

The rest of the playoffs I will certainly watch on tv or streaming games online...who else will be watching?! [More than 1 other this time? anyone? If not thats cool, we certainly had a good convo just the two of us...no need to ruin a good thing with others...haha Laughing

Good luck to the Sharks! Although I'm in Alberta, the rivalry is intense between the Oilers and the Flames.

I'll be following the Canadiens and Bruins (one of the Boston teams I don't root for Laughing

).

You'll enjoy being there in person.

Well my friend,

The game just ended and I imagine you are headed for the vehicle. Too little to late. But I hope you enjoyed it.

Scotty Bowman was brought in to coach the Flames for this. He's tough... coached Montreal/ Detroit ... he'll break arms if you don't preform.

Still I think the Sharks will prevail.

The game was fun, but the sharks lost...man they played like crap....looked more like a regulation opener than a playoff series opener...the sharks aren't known as a hard hitting physical team but man, Calgary just walked all over them. The sharks better come out swinging tonight or maybe their chance at the cup will be lost...I think they need to fire their coach IMNSHO, he is a terrible playoff coach and looked like a rookie next to Calgary...

On a good note though, it was a great date with my gf, I bought a jersey...I've wanted one for-EVER...we got free "sharks territory" towels, keychains, an other junk...and the sharks do this charity fundraiser called the mystery puck, where ya pay $20 an get an autographed puck...you just don't know who till you buy it, they're wrapped up...I got two of them and got Devin Setoguchi and Brian Campbell! bounce

Pictures may be posted soon...we'll see...I got about 10 to 14 pages of homework and 3 chapters to read by tuesday...oy

Getting nervous... Habs vs Bruins in less than 30 minutes... Habs were 8-0 this past season against the Bruins but the playoffs are different.

It was an awesome game! I wish they would have played that way last night when I actually attended the game but oh well, it was fun.
The series is now tied 1 to 1..

Other games tonight:
Detroit beat Nashville 3 to 1 in their series opener tonight. Four other teams started their post-season games tonight as well. Those being Dallas vs. Anaheim, Dallas won 4 to 0 in what I can imagine was a crazy game, and Montreal beat Boston 4 to 1 in another spectacular display of skill...

I love hockey...I love hockey post season even more...

Tomorrow we see NY Rangers vs New Jersey [Rangers lead 1-0], Ottawa vs Pittsburgh [Pittsburgh lead 1-0], Colorado vs Minnesota [Colorado leads 1-0] and finally Philadelphia starts their post season against Washington tomorrow...

If I can pull away from homework I will watch streaming games online geek

The Bruins came on in the third and tied the game against Montreal. Early in overtime there was a bad penalty call by the ref IMHO. A tripping call... and Montreal scored on the power play.

sharks were up 3 to 0 in the first period, played incredibly tough...got some really bad calls...or no calls i should say, the flames put a guy into the boards so hard it cut his forehead...no call... plus he was hit from behind, then later elbowed a guy so hard...the same guy...his nose was bleeding [plus the previous cut]...no call, there was a fight afterwards an we got a penalty! These refs SUCK...and well..the sharks sucked every since the first period and lost 4 to 3....
