| This is interesting;
>Stalin smoked Edgeworth tobacco (yuck) in Dunhill pipes, compounding the >crime by ruining great pipes with lousy tobacco.
Say what you will about him otherwise, the Man of Steel was a sound judge of a good smoke. I've heard that Ambassador George Kennan brought in so much Edgeworth to the USSR for Stalin during WWII that the diplomatic pouch was known as the tobacco pouch.

| | Winslow, cant get the book off hand. (its at home and im on the drill rig) According to "Tobacco" Stalin also smoked ripped up Russian cigs. Since I dont have the book in front of me I could be wrong. From what I understand Russian cigs pack a punch in the nic dept. |

| I've read a lot of books written by German soldiers who served on the Eastern Front,the tobacco was an obnoxious blend called Majorcha which gave off a stench which sometimes betrayed the Russians prescence.
