I have been sampling some fine aged tobaccos of late, and i find some seem to lose nicotene and others gain. It could be just a subjective observation. Anyone out there know the effect of age on nicotene levels in our favorite weed?

Nicotine levels don't change qppreciably, with the possible exception of some slight decrease under some circumstances. What does change, however, is the pH of the smoke, which alters the way the nicotine is absorbed. The more alkaline the smoke, the more readily your body will take up the nicotine.
