A thread in ASP about old GLP tins made me take a look at mine, to search for rust. None found, but decided to open one of the original Haddos tin (the one with 'Virgina' instead of 'Virginia' on the label). The tobacco was dry, but no drier than I remember it to be. I'm not a fan of Haddos, but this one is being awfully tasty in a small Dunhill Cumberland billiard.
