PostSubject: Forum Problem   Mon Sep 22, 2008 9:46 am

Last night the forum wasn't working correctly, displaying an error every time you click on a post. That has now been resolved but unfortunately in order to do so the company that hosts our forum (forumotion.com) had to delete some posts from everyone's data base. They informed us that those post can not be recovered.

They did apologize for the incident and said they have been in operation for over four years now and this is the first time they have lost any data.

I'm as bummed about it as anyone because I was in a good discussion in the Rubber Room that is now gone. Laughing

Oh well, such is life on the internets.

Wow, it looks like we lost everything from September 4th up to this morning the 22nd. The good thing is we are still up and running and strong. We didn't lose everyone who has joined us between those dates have we? If so will they need to re-join? It looked like we had some very interesting new members join our merry band in the last two weeks.

I would think it was some sort of conspiracy directed at stifling the voices of dissent
which eminate from "The Rubber Room". affraid Mad Evil or Very Mad Twisted Evil

I was wondering what was going on. I noticed that several topics and pics of mine had disappeared. I guess it's not a conspiracy... Laughing

I think Winslow is right. It's a conspiracy. I read in the Enquirer (or was it the Star?) that pygmy aliens from the planet Minutia were trying to destroy the civilizations of every creature over three feet tall. Shocked
As a matter of fact, when I was trying to post this reply my internet connection went south and I had to start all over again! cyclops

Actually the resource would be the Weekly World News. The full version that you use to be able to purchase on news stands and in grocery stores folded. That use to be my number one news source when I could pick up a copy at the grocery store. They were the first ones to break the story about the Bat Boy and One of Bush's advisors being an Alien. I really regret that the printed version folded. Here is the internet version run by someone that bought the rights to the name but it is bogus compared to the real thing. http://www.weeklyworldnews.com/
