| I have added a commentary on the front page of my web site. I would appreciate any feedback or observations. It’s not my intention to cause any controversy but, simply, it’s a place where I can give my opinion. After all, it’s my web site!!! http://baweaverpipes.com/home.html Thanks! |

| Very good point on pricing, it is very much perceived quality which to many means a pipe that is not considered expensive enough to be of good quality.
It must be a nightmare for pipe makers, do you charge what the market can stand?
Or then be accused of raising your prices too high.
An alternative I suppose would be bespoke pipes only with a different pricing level. |

| That indeed is a dilemma! The dilemma being how much the pipe maker has to or needs to charge or how much a buyer is willing to pay. I guess the market will eventually determine the fair price.
One strategy(?) I thought was particularly effective was Sam Learned first offering his "Mules" for approximately $100. After his name became fairly well known, he began to offer higher priced models of the "Mules" along with other styles.
