Ok,
So I know this is a long shot but,does anyone have any idea who might have made this pipe?It has initals on the shank but are just a little to faint to make out clearly.It's a very well made pipe and likely carved by a very obscure pipemaker...

I've got several pipes by that carver: A. Nonymous.

Seriously though, that is a dandy pipe, Dock. If the letters are carved, would the old putting a piece of paper over the letters and rubbing it with a pencil trick bring them out?
