I just picked this up on ebay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEBTOX:IT&item=290192702433&_trksid=p3984.cTODAY.m238.lVI

Know little about he line except it is supposed to be a nice smoker. Plan on stripping it down and giving it a nice walnut stain.

Anyone familiar with it? Was it a decent grab or no??

Davey,

Bewlay's were a chain of pipe shops that spread over most of England 30 or so years ago.

Bewleys were often referred to as "the poor mans Barling" and there is still a lot of controversy over the claims that they were Barling seconds, or pipes made specifically for Bewleys by Barling, or have nothing to do with Barling at all.

They tend to be very good smokers and this may have something to do with their claimed or assumed connection with Barling.

I used to have an oversized 120 and it was a very nice smoker.
