O.K.,here's one that's medium difficulty.A tin from my cellar to the first man that can ID this man and tell us what he was first in the world to do.I also post pictures of his mentor a great American inventor.Good Luck!

Is that J.A.D. "Jack" McCurdy, the first biplane pilot (the "Silver Dart", designed by A.G. Bell?) [Or is he the first ice takeoff/landing pilot (same event)?]

I recognized Mr. Bell, after that it was an easy search. I'll wait for a while on the next one though. I think I have the upper hand when it comes to having a lot of time in front of the computer.

Make it a surprise from the VA or VaPer area, I like them all. =)
