I use "rubbers" Very Happy on all my pipes, dentures, but I read somewhere that a guy was using clear plastic tubing, instead of the black rubber thingies that come 2for, well I went to Loews bought some in 3 foot length and it works, I would go for at least .5 inch inside diameter and tighten it up with a hair drier if needed, Ken tongue

When I buy a new pipe, the first thing I do is put a rubber on it.

When I was a teenager you had to go to the Pharmicist and ask for them, they weren't
on display.Very embarassing for a shy lad like me,especially if a woman phamacist waited
on you. Embarassed
You could walk in there and shout "Gimme a pack of Luckies",then whisper "and some Trojans".
Today you can shout "Gimme some rubbers",then whisper "and a pack of cigarettes". affraid

Winslow sunny

Just in the past 2 weeks have I tried using the "rubbers" and I have to admit that I like the extra grip that they give me especially on a large, heavier pipe. I originally was only going to use them on my better pipes for protection from tooth marks but after trying them I think they will go on all of them.
