Replacement stems

Where would one go to find a replacement stem for a Dunhill, and how would one match it to the pipe? Lastly, what is the cost (approx) of a replacement stem for an older estate dunhill?

It completely depends, Davey, on what you want. Just a molded stem trimmed to fit the stummel so you can smoke it ? One shaped by hand to match the lines of the original out of primo ebonite with an appropriately sized and positioned dot ? A fool-the-experts replacement of identical materials fitted perfectly without touching the shank ?

Anywhere from $20 to more than you may have paid for the pipe.

Give Howard a call.He makes beautiful stems,his prices are more than fair and his turn around time is a couple of weeks or less...Save his adress for when you need it...
