Just finished some Watch City Roanoke crumble cake in an English Ben Wade. Was getting some odd tastes tonight, like turkey gravy. First thing I did was smell my fingers and coat sleeve to make sure I hadn't gotten into something. Anyway, now enjoying some 15 year old Asbach in a small snifter, going to do some reading when I log off.

Cool grain pattern on that, haven't seen that kind of pattern before. You sure keep your silver shinier than I do!
Not always. I can get slack about those things. But, I do love that pipe.

Enjoyed a tasty egg sandwich, and am almost half way through this bowl of Wilke No. 515 in a 1998 smooth straight Butz-Choquin Bistro 1501 pot with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

Now smoking D&R Raccoon’s Friend in a pre-1980s straight dark brown Comoy's Sandblast 186 billiard with a black vulcanite tapered stem. Time to do some drawing. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Just finished smoking Jim's Evolving Work Blend in a 2003 Stanwell Golden Danish 56 Rusticated Canadian with a black vulcanite saddle stem.

Did some snacking since I missed lunch today, and am a quarter of the way through this bowl of Motzek M74 in a late 50s, early 60s Comoy’s straight smooth dark brown Deluxe 20 billiard with a silver cap military mount and a black vulcanite tapered stem.

I can't tell you anything about it because it isn't mine. The photo I use for that Comoy's was taken by the man who owned the pipe before me. I'm a terrible photographer, so I use his photo. It is really cool, though, and I wouldn't mind owning it.

Enjoyed an amazing cinnamon raisin French toast, hash browns and eggs lunch, and am a third of the way through this bowl of Motzek Old Louisiana Mix (TAK) in an undated Family Era Sasieni Walnut Four Dot Derby straight smooth brown bulldog with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. I posted my review of the new Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation Peaty Kentucky blend at Tobacco Reviews for those who are interested.
