Sutliff vanilla custard in a Design Berlin full bent apple with silver ringed shank. Bevy of birds to watch. Blissful.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, filet mignon, mushrooms and green beans dinner with a small scoop of vanilla bean ice cream for dessert. I'm now smoking SWRA in a straight black sandblast undated Savinelli Hercules 115EX pot with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Getting set to watch an episode of The Untouchables.
View attachment 762Wow, I am jealous. Not of the pipe but that you had filet mignon. My sirloin was very good but nothing beats a good filet.

Close to finishing this bowl of circa year 2000 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.

2016 C&D Sansepolcro in a B&B rusticated billiard. Has it mellowed? Nope. Still a lot of nose-tickling spice and robust hit of Parodi cigar. Made the dog sneeze - then he kept his distance!

Now smoking year 2016 D&R Three Sails in a smooth straight late 1970s Charatan Special 4148DC Reg. No. 203573 pot with a black double comfort vulcanite stem. Time to do some walking reps.

The meat shop m'lady goes to gives a great deal on the filet. Otherwise, we could never afford it. I eat it as much for the lean meat content (great for my diet) as the quality of meat.

Not far from finishing this bowl of C&D Burley Ribbon Cut in a 1970s slight bend black sandblasted Comoy's Silver Cloud 624 square shank sitter with a silver pearl gray acrylic saddle stem.

Now smoking Greeneyes Red Virginia Cut Plug in a 1980s White Pipe straight, smooth octagonal paneled billiard meerschaum with an acrylic yellow cream colored saddle stem.

Yep, usually get ours from Costco when on sale. Will not pay $18 a lb for meat no matter how much I like it. When on sale for $12 we stock up. I like that it's lean but prepared right, med/ rare still red in the middle, it's the best tasting steak out there.

Part way through this bowl of KBV Festivus VaPer beta test in a 1978 Peterson Deluxe 20S medium bend smooth dark brown billiard with a silver cap military mount black vulcanite saddle stem and p-lip. Time to do another set of walks.

Costco does have good meat at good prices, and we stock up when they have sales, too. I agree that $18 a pound is a lot of money, and we don't do that either.

C&D Pegasus in paneled Design Berlin. Wide 22mm bore and thick walls means it's time for some power puffin'!

Enjoyed a tasty late lunch and am now smoking Wilke No. 515 in a 1998 smooth straight Butz-Choquin Bistro 1501 pot with a black vulcanite saddle stem. This smoke will be interrupted by some pancakes.

Stokkebye English Oriental in a DeJarrnett rusticated Poker. A Phoenix carver I met through Paul Hildebrand way back when. He made some larger bowled pipes but they are good smokers IMHO.
