How old are your green Petersons? And how is the stain on those green Petes holding up? I’ve hears all sorts of things, over the years, about green stain on Peterson pipes fading…or not.

Apologies Blackhorse!

My job takes me to various parts of Canada at a moments notice and I forget about the boards for awhile. The green stain on my Peterson Celtic has faded a bit and seems to have developed a slight yellow on the rim. As for my St.Patrick’s day pipes the green is as good as the day I got them.

I like the green St. Patrick’s Day Petes better when they fade. Green, brown, and yellow going on at the same time. Remind me of the old colored Bennington clay marbles.
