    New iPhone on the way.

Verizon keeps hounding me with texts and offers of upgrading to Pixel 7 for free or Pixel 7 Pro for $180 if I go to a 5G plan. I have a Pixel 3A that is working perfectly fine (but I don't like smart phones). Verizon lied to me a few years ago about 3G being dropped off the network very soon...

    Barbecue sauce - your favorite?

Began experimenting at making my own sauce. Been looking at the list of ingredients on barbecue sauce bottles. Have also reviewed many barbecue sauce recipes. It's amazing how many store-bought sauces list high fructose corn syrup as their first ingredient. After that some also have...

    Your method of fishing?

I grew up fishing the Gasconade River in Missouri. Beautiful and winding gravel bottomed river. In some spots you could float for 50 miles on the river and only have traveled 5 miles in a straight line from put in point to take out point. I used to wade the river near the camp gounds during...

Sorry to bore you guys but I'm sooooo bored.

No, never played it. I need to get out my guitar and practice. I wanted to go to a guitar workshop in August but I haven't played in so long that I don't know if I have enough time to get ready after my restrictions are lifted. There will be other workshops though.

    Your method of fishing?

Went up to town to run a couple of errands this morning. Stopped at Scheel's for fun. Geez Louise! Prices are outrageous. Good I didn't really need anything. I'm going to have to watch Wally World for sales. I've accepted the fact that I'm going to stick to bank fishing which is fine. I'd...

    Your method of fishing?

On Youtube it appears that for fishing there are mostly videos of fishing from boats. Next are the videos showing fishing from a kayak. Then come the videos showing bank fishing. Which type of fishing do you guys prefer? Do you fish rivers, lakes, ponds, the ocean, or other bodies of water...

Sorry to bore you guys but I'm sooooo bored.

Thanks Timbo! I had a decompression and fusion done during that surgery. After the 6 weeks are up I don't have any restrictions. Just having trouble waiting it out but I know it will all be worth it.

Sorry to bore you guys but I'm sooooo bored.

Today, two weeks completed with four more to go. Bored to tears but feeling great. That scares me because I'm afraid I'll absent-mindedly do something that will screw up my bone grafts.

    Barbecue sauce - your favorite?

Excellent! Thanks. "Barbecue sauce is basically spiced ketchup so we make our own." How true, how true. At least in most parts of the U.S. I like the ideas behind the sauces from the Carolinas too.

    Barbecue sauce - your favorite?

Too thick and sweet for me so I thin it down with apple cider vinegar. High fructose corn syrup is the main ingredient and that annoys me but I still buy it.

    Barbecue sauce - your favorite?

I was born and raised in St. Louis and Maull's was the BEST. It's tomato based but thinner and spicier than a lot of sauces. I consider it a mop sauce. Moved to Iowa almost 30 years ago and still haven't learned to live on bland food and wimpy sauces. For me the hardest part of moving to...

I'm looking for store bought or recipes for homemade. What's your favorite?

    Burger Press Recommendations?

Good idea! The prices on some of those presses are outrageous. The Weber burger press is around $15 and there's really not much to it; 2 pieces of plastic. This idea is close enough to some of the commercial products that I'll give it a try and save some $$$. :)

    Burger Press Recommendations?

That looks like my current burger press machine. :)

    Burger Press Recommendations?

Do you have a burger press you recommend? I'm referring to the type that initially forms the raw patty, not the type that presses the patty to the grill while cooking.
