Thanks for that. I have to say it smokes great too. Being that is an English pipe I felt it was only appropriate that I only smoke English blends in it. Havent been let down yet!!! :D

Enjoyed some GLP Ashbury in a Ashton rhodesian today.

I have one of those and it seems to work well. It make the pipe smoke cooler and it seems to help color my pipe evenly instead of just in the shank. The drawbacks are that I dont seem to get quite as much flavor and it makes the pipe heavier so clenching is harder. That isnt too big of a deal...

As long as you wash your hands prior to smoking especially if you just finished reading the paper, it shouldnt be a problem. There was a great article about rewaxing your pipe in the pipes and tobaccos magazine a couple of years ago. The cover had meer pipes on it. Probably can find it online...

I have a 2c rusticated rhodesian that is wonderful. Nice to look at, nice feel in the hand, and most importantly a great smoker! :D
