    Recommendations for Strong Codger Blends?

Never had a chance to try Edgeworth. I might order some of the Sutliff match to sample.

    Recommendations for Strong Codger Blends?

Looks like C&D is getting most of my next paycheck!

    Recommendations for Strong Codger Blends?

Not necessarily a definitive definition, but what I meant is a burley forward blend in the spirit of Carter Hall, Prince Albert and the like.

    Recommendations for Strong Codger Blends?

I had Old Joe Krantz years ago on my first go-round and liked it. Never tried Big & Burley, but sounds good! I forgot about Cornell & Diehl. I'll have to check them out again.

    Hello from Central Pennsylvania

Nothing except Cigars International in Hamburg, and they only have a limited pipe selection. Wingenroth's in Lebanon closed years ago, but that place was amazing! The other places I know of are basically just cigarettes and "alternative" smoking substances, with possibly a dusty Dr. Grabow...

    Hello from Central Pennsylvania

Before my hiatus, I had four Mark Twains. I really like them! Hopefully you can get to try a Country Gent at some point. That was the first "good" cob I ever got (with the wood plug in the bottom) and it's still my favorite MM.

    Recommendations for Strong Codger Blends?

So I've been away from pipes for awhile, and decided to take the hobby up again. Got myself a couple cobs and a pouch each of Carter Hall and Prince Albert. Neither is nearly as good as I remember, and research shows they moved overseas. So I'm on the hunt for something to replace them. Ideally...

    Hello from Central Pennsylvania

The MM Country Gentleman and Mark Twain are the two I have now, and are probably my favorites.

    New Grill!

My Weber 22" took a hard fall during a winter wind storm and got tweaked enough that the lid doesn't fit on anymore. I just downgraded to a Royal Gourmet 30" rectangle model due to cost and it was often hard to fit everything on the kettle to feed everyone. Seems to do the trick, just hope I can...

What breed dog do you have?

Thanks @Blackhorse @nik danger and @Ranger107 . I feel blessed to have had her as long as we did. She was having trouble with her back legs for about a year, then suddenly last weekend her front legs quit working too. I definitely wouldn't hesitate to recommend Labradors to any family. She was...

What breed dog do you have?

I have a 9 year old boxer-shepherd mix who is probably the smartest (and naughtiest!) dog I've ever had! On Monday, we helped our 14 year old yellow lab cross into the next life... She developed some neurological disorders that caused her to loose control of her limbs. I have a 70 pound chunk of...

    Hello from Central Pennsylvania

Hi, all. I'm re-new to pipe smoking. I picked up the hobby about 10 years ago, but life got hectic and I got away from it. I just recently started up again. I'm enjoying some OTC's in a cob right now. I stumbled across this forum when I was doing a little research on briars because like an...
