I am also a fan of the colored pipes. I used to have a mustard yellow dr grabow in an unusual shape. I loved that pipe. I didn't realize how much I liked it until it was gone. If I saw one like it again I would snatch it up. I also passed one up in orange, unsmoked in an original box one...
I personally don't care what others think. Although I won't smoke in areas with other people in close proximity either. That being said I am 42 years old and just got back into smoking a pipe. I was in my 20s the last time I smoked a pipe, so I think many people assumed it wasn't tobacco...
I would definitely have that repaired. I cannot afford a dunhill but aside from what it is, the memories made with that pipe must be even more important than the value of the pipe. Even if the repair is a bit imperfect it will just be one more memory with it.

I am interested in this. I have an old Carey magic inch but it isn't in my rotation. But back to my point. I am thinking of buying a carve your own pipe block and Grecia briar is one of the two choices. I don't really know the difference so I am very intrigued buy this particular thread.
In all fairness I got a really good price that's why I got so many. Plus I figured with such a popular blend if I dislike it I could trade it off fairly easily.
I just ordered a tobacco I have not had. I only smoke a bowl a day so a tin lasts quite a while as I change my tobacco most days. I really liked the sound of plum pudding special reserve and I hope it lives up to my expectations as I have 4 4 oz tins coming in. I can't even wrap my head...
They do. I was there a couple weeks ago. But other then them it's pretty slim pickings though. It was my first time in twins and I will definitely go back. I went to the one in londonderry, is the selection of pipes and pipe tobacco similar in both? I was also in happy Jack's in laconia this...
