I have an old Dr Grabow I don't remember acquiring that puzzles me. It is marked Linkmans Deluxe on one side and 1541 on the other. The spade is on the top oqf the stem with the point toward the mouthpiece. But the spade is red. can anyone enlighten me?

My favourite balkan is an American made one by G L Pease called Westminister. Lots of Orientals and tastes like London Mixture did when Alfred H was in charge at Dunhill. It is a little hard to find in the UK but is available.

My grandson and I popped a tin of Quiet Nights I bought in 2010 and tried it. I can't believe I had this in my stash all this time and didn't realise how special it is. We were both quite impressed.
