Engine 99 in a stack, of course. What else would one smoke Engine 99 in?

Missed this thread before,  but thought I'd chime in. I've been smoking lat blends for 50 years,  and haven't lost the taste for them a bit. I recently discovered HH old Dark Fired and I smoke that once a day, and love it, but not to the exclusion of lat blends.

Settling in for another cup of coffee and HH ODF in a Peretti oom Paul.

HH ODF in my old No name Italian oom Paul. Been enjoying this pipe for 40 years.

Having some GH Kendal Dark with a pinch of perique in a newly made Semi-Bing. Breaking in nicely.  Glass of really nice chardonnay to ease it along. 

Another good morning with HH ODF in my cuspidor stack. Sitting on the deck and an egret just landed in the back yard. Looks better than the turkeys.

A chance to post here after a couple of days. Had customers wanting their airplanes inspected, so tied up for a while, can't ignore paying people. Now smoking C&D Engine 99, one of my favorite after dinner smokes in my #1  Iron horse stack. Remains of a glass of petite Syrah to help out.

Lovely pipes. Must have felt good to be in the shop!

A bit of a change this morning. GH Black Twist sliced in one of my stacks. I've decided it's not as good as HH ODF.

Smoking a pretty good hausegemacht blend, slowroll mystery Balkan.  Latakia, Dark Fired Kentucky, and McC 2050. Mystery, because I have no idea what's the secret sauce in 2050, but it reminds me of the floral, herby, spicy note that old Balkan Sobranie had.
